The title of this Order is the Government of Wales Act 2006 (Approved European Body of Accountants) Order 2007 and it comes into force on 1 December 2007.

The Government of Wales Act 2006 (Approved European Body of Accountants) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/2973 (W.))
This Order provides that each of The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (βCIPFAβ) and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (βCIMAβ) is an approved European body of accountants for the purposes of paragraph 21(6) of Schedule 8 to the Government of Wales Act 2006.

(1) Each of the bodies mentioned in paragraph (2) is an approved European body of accountants for the purposes of paragraph 21(6) of Schedule 8 to the Government of Wales Act 2006.
(2) The bodies referred to in paragraph (1) areβ
(a) The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy; and
(b) The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
