Section 1 Title, commencement and application

(1) The title of this Order is the Fire and Rescue Services (National Framework) (Wales) Order 2008 and it comes into force on 22 September 2008.

(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

Section 2 The National Framework

The Fire and Rescue National Framework prepared by the Welsh Ministers and entitled “The Fire and Rescue National Framework for Wales 2008—2011” published by the Welsh Ministers on 28 August 2008 on the Welsh Assembly Government’s website has effect as a revision, which appears to the Welsh Minsters to be significant, of the “The Fire and Rescue National Framework (Wales) 2005” .
