Section 1 Title and commencement

The title of this Order is the Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor Further Education Corporation (Dissolution) Order 2010 and it comes into force on 1 April 2010.

Section 2 Dissolution and Transfer

On 1 April 2010 Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor further education corporation is dissolved and its property, rights and liabilities are transferred to Coleg Llandrillo further education corporation, being a corporate body wholly or mainly engaged in the provision of educational facilities or services.

Section 3 Transfer of Staff

Section 26(2), (3) and (4) of the Act applies to any person employed by Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor further education corporation immediately before 1 April 2010 as if the references in that section—

(a) to a person to whom that section applies were to a person so employed;

(b) to the operative date were to 1 April 2010;

(c) to the transferor were to Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor further education corporation; and

(d) to the corporation were to Coleg Llandrillo further education corporation.
