Section 1 Title and interpretation

The title of this Order is the Education Act 2002 (Commencement No. 13) (Wales) Order 2010.

Section 2 Title and interpretation

In this Order, the “2002 Act” (“ Deddf 2002 ”) means the Education Act 2002.

Section 3 Appointed day

The following provisions of the 2002 Act come into force on 12 April 2010:

(a) section 19(8) (governing bodies of maintained schools);

(b) section 20(4) (instruments of government of governing bodies of maintained schools);

(c) section 24 (federation of schools); and

(d) section 25 (federations: supplementary provisions).
