(1) The title of this Order is the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No.1) Order 2011.
(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

This Order is made under sections 150(5) and 156(2) of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (βthe Measureβ). Article 2 lists the provisions which are to come into force on 28 June 2011.

The following provisions of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 come into force on 28 June 2011β
(a) paragraphs 3, 7, 8, 13 and 21 of Schedule 1, and section 2(2) and (3) in so far as those subsections relate to those paragraphs;
(b) section 138;
(c) section 139;
(d) paragraphs 1, 2 and 6 of Schedule 12, and section 146 in so far as it relates to those paragraphs.
