(1) The title of this Order is the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf) Designation Order 2012.
(2) This Order comes into force on 1 August 2012 and applies in relation to Wales.

The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf) Designation Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/1520 (W.))
This Order designates the area described in the Schedule as a civil enforcement area and a special enforcement area for the purposes of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The practical effect of the Order is to enable the Council of the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf to enforce parking contraventions within the area described in the Schedule to the Order through a civil law regime, as opposed to enforcement by police or traffic wardens in a criminal law context.
