This is the second commencement order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Education (Wales) Act 2014 (βthe 2014 Actβ). This Order brings into force on 18 August 2014 section 2 so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (education workforce council) of, and the following paragraphs of Schedule 1 to, the 2014 Actβparagraph 3(1), (2), (3), (4)(a) and (5) (membership);paragraph 4 (membership: further provision);paragraph 5 (tenure);paragraph 6 (removal from office);paragraph 7 (remuneration, allowances and expenses of members);paragraph 9(1), (2) and (3) (in so far as it relates to the chief officer); andparagraph 12 (committees generally).
