The Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 art 2

art 2 Interpretation

(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 (c. 33) applies to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly. (2) In this Order— “the Department” means the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment; “the Insolvency Order” means the Insolvency (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 ( NI 19); and “statutory provision” has the meaning given in section 1(f) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 (c. 33). (3) For the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (c. 8), the functions conferred on the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority by virtue of Schedules 1 and 2 are to be treated as conferred by that Act.
