art 1 Title and commencement
(1) This Order may be cited as the Planning (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2003. (2) In this Order— (a) this Article, Article 2, Articles 27 to 29 and Article 31 come into operation two weeks after the date on which this Order is made; (b) the remaining provisions of this Order come into operation on such day or days as the Department of the Environment may by order appoint . (3) An order under paragraph (2) may contain such transitional provisions and savings as the Department of the Environment considers appropriate in connection with the order. (4) Nothing in any provision of this Order affects the punishment for an offence committed before the provision comes into operation.
