s 70 Partial release of security from rentcharge.
(1) A release from a rentcharge of part of the land charged therewith does not extinguish the whole rent charge, but operates only to bar the right to recover any part of the rentcharge out of the land released, without prejudice to the rights of any persons interested in the land remaining unreleased, and not concurring in or confirming the release. (2) This section applies to releases made after the twelfth day of August, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine.
