s 35 Recovery and application of penalties.
(1) All pecuniary penalties and forfeitures imposed by this Part of this Act (other than fines recoverable summarily) shall be recoverable by information in the High Court or as respects Scotland in the name of the Lord Advocate in the Court of Session. (2) Every such penalty or forfeiture shall be paid into the Exchequer. (3) It shall be lawful for the Commissioners to cause such reward as they think fit, not exceeding one-half of any such penalty or forfeiture so recovered, after deducting all charges and expenses incurred in recovering it, to be paid to any person who may appear to them to be entitled thereto as informer.
