Civil Defence Act 1939 (Repealed) s 77

s 77 Penalty for false statements.

Any person who in any report made by him under this Act . . . makes any statement which he knows to be false shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or to both such fine and such imprisonment.
