Land Drainage (Scotland) Act 1941 (repealed) s 8

s 8 Short title, extent and duration.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Land Drainage (Scotland) Act 1941, and shall extend to Scotland only. (2) The powers of the Secretary of State to prepare and settle schemes shall, unless continued by Parliament, cease on the expiry of the section three of the Emergency Laws (Temporary Provisions) Act 1946 but nothing in this subsection shall prejudice or affect any power under or provisions regarding schemes settled before that date.
