s 93 Power of Minister to direct local inquiries.

The Secretary of State for Education and Science may cause a local inquiry to be held for the purpose of the exercise of any of his functions under this Act; and the provisions of subsections (2) (3) (4) and (5) of section two hundred and fifty of the Local Government Act 1972 shall have effect with respect to any such inquiry . . .
