s 19 †Short title, extent and repeal.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Statistics of Trade Act 1947. (2) The powers of a competent authority under section one of this Act shall be exercisable in Northern Ireland in relation to matters in respect of which the Parliament of Northern Ireland has not power to make laws; but, except so far as is necessary for that purpose and as provided in sections seven and ten of this Act, this Act shall not extend to Northern Ireland.
