s 186 Provisions as to medical officers of health in London
(1) The London County Council may, with the consent of the Minister, at any time appoint one or more duly qualified medical practitioner or practitioners with such remuneration as they think fit for the purpose of carrying into effect any Part of this Act. (2) Any medical officer of health appointed by the London County Council and any officer appointed by them under this section shall be deemed to be a medical officer of health of a local authority within the meaning of this Act.
