s 32Q Fit and proper person: information sharing
(1) A local authority may, for the purpose of another local authority deciding under this Part if a person is a fit and proper person, provide to that other authority information which falls within subsection (2). (2) Information falls within this subsection if the local authority holding the information considers that— (a) it is likely to be relevant to the other authority's decision under this Part as to whether a person is a fit and proper person, and (b) it ought to be provided for that purpose. (3) Subsections (1) and (2) apply despite any duty of confidentiality owed to any person in respect of the information by the authority disclosing the information.
