Sch 16 para 29 THE DEVELOPMENT OF TourRISM AcT 1969
(1) In section 1 of the Development of Tourism Act 1969, in paragraph (a) of subsection (2), for the word “ five” there shall be substituted the word “two” and the word “and”, where it last occurs, shall be omitted. (2) After paragraph (5) of that subsection there shall be inserted the following paragraphs : — “(c) a member of the English Tourist Board, appointed by the Secretary of State ; (d) a member of the Scottish Tourist Board, appointed by a Scottish Secretary ; and (e) a member of the Wales Tourist Board, appointed by the person who, at the time of the appointment, is responsible for appointing members of that Board.”.
