Sch 16 para 53 Tue Patents Act 1977

Sections 55 to 59 of the Patents Act 1977 shall have effect as if references to a government department included references to a Scottish Secretary; and, in relation to any use of an invention by a Scottish Secretary or by any person authorised in writing by a Scottish Secretary, section 55(4) of that Act shall have effect as if the words “with the approval of the Treasury” were omitted.
