s 5 Citation, interpretation and extent.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1981. (2) In this Act— “ the Act of 1963 ” means the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963; “ the Act of 1969 ” means the Horserace Betting Levy Act 1969; “ the Levy Board ” has the same meaning as in the Act of 1963; “ levy period ” has the same meaning as in Part 1 of the Act of 1963. (3) This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
