Belize Act 1981 s 6

s 6 Interpretation.

(1) In this Act, and in any amendment made by this Act in any other enactment, “ Belize ” means the territories which immediately before Independence Day constitute the colony of Belize (formerly known as British Honduras). (2) In this Act “ Independence Day ” means such day as Her Majesty may by Order in Council appoint; and any Order in Council under this subsection shall be laid before Parliament after being made. (3) In this Act “ the 1948 Act ” means the British Nationality Act 1948.
