(1) The provisions of Schedule 1 to this Act shall have —_ effect, being transitional provisions and savings consequential Upon the provisions of this Act. (2) The enactments specified in Schedule 2 to this Act shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in that Schedule, being minor amendments or amendments consequential upon the provisions of this Act. (3) The enactments specified in Schedule 3 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in that Schedule. 40. In this Act— “the principal Act” means the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 1960 ; and “the 1975 Act” means the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975.
