s 8 Penalties for offences.
A person guilty of an offence under this Act shall be liable on summary conviction— (a) in the case of an offence under section 1(2) or 1A(2) , to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale, (b) in the case of an offence under section 1(3) , 1A(3) , 2(1) or 2A(1) , to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or both, . . .
