s 2 Transitional provisions
On the commencement of this Act— (a) section 68(1)(a) of the Licensing Act 1964, as amended by section 1(1) above, shall apply (subject to section 69 of that Act) to any premises to which that paragraph applied immediately before the commencement of this Act; and (b) any condition in force immediately before the commencement of this Act under section 95 of the said Act of 1964 shall take effect as a condition restricting the permitted hours in the premises so as to exclude any time after the start of the second part of the general licensing hours (within the meaning of that Act), or any time before it, as the case requires.
