(1) Section 11 of the Police Pensions Act 1976 (interpretation) shall be amended as follows. (2) In subsection (2)— (a) the word “and” after paragraph (a) shall be omitted, (b) in paragraph (b) after “it means” there shall be inserted “, subject to paragraphs (c) to (e) below,” , and (c) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (3) In subsection (5), in the definition of “ central service ”— (a) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
