Terrorism Act 2000 s 53

s 53 Port and border controls.

(1) Schedule 7 (port and border controls) shall have effect. (2) The Secretary of State may by order repeal paragraph 16 of Schedule 7. (3) The powers conferred by Schedule 7 shall be exercisable notwithstanding the rights conferred by section 1 of the Immigration Act 1971 (general principles regulating entry into and staying in the United Kingdom).
