s 2 Validation of certain charges made by the Herring Industry Board.
(1) The Herring Industry Board shall be taken to have had power to make such charges as were made by it in the administration of any of the schemes mentioned in subsection (2) or any of those schemes as amended; and the powers of Ministers of the Crown in connection with such schemes shall be construed accordingly. (2) The schemes are— (a) the Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1967, and (b) the Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1976.
