Sch A1 para 10

(1) Except for the expression “local authority”, expressions used in paragraphs 6 to 9 and the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 have the same meaning in those paragraphs as in that Act. (2) In paragraphs 6 and 7 “ education functions ” has the meaning given by section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996.
