Trustee Act 2000 s 25

s 25 Sole trustees.

(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Part applies in relation to a trust having a sole trustee as it applies in relation to other trusts (and references in this Part to trustees—except in sections 12(1) and (3) and 19(5)—are to be read accordingly). (2) Section 18 does not impose a duty on a sole trustee if that trustee is a trust corporation.
