s 2 Principal aim of the Commissioner

After section 72 of the Care Standards Act 2000 (c. 14) (establishment of the office of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales) insert— Principal aim of the Commissioner (72A) The principal aim of the Commissioner in exercising his functions is to safeguard and promote the rights and welfare of children to whom this Part applies.
