s 17 Guidance
In section 103 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (supplementary provision as to removal of vehicles), at the end insert— (4) A local authority must in exercising any of their functions under sections 99 to 102 have regard to any guidance given to the authority for the purpose by— (a) the Secretary of State, in the case of a local authority in England; (b) the National Assembly for Wales, in the case of a local authority in Wales. (5) In subsection (4) “ local authority ” has the meaning given by section 100(5)(a) and (b).
