Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 s 116

s 116 Remedies other than bankruptcy

(1) This section applies in relation to a non-business debtor during a period of protection. (2) No qualifying creditor of the debtor is to pursue any remedy for the recovery of a qualifying debt, unless— (a) regulations provide otherwise, or (b) the creditor has the permission of the county court . (3) The county court may give permission for the purposes of subsection (2)(b) subject to such conditions as it thinks fit. (4) This section does not have any effect in relation to bankruptcy proceedings.
