(1) Section 6 (construction and alteration) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (1) after “increase”, in both places, insert “ or decrease ” . (3) In subsection (3) omit “addition to the”. (4) In subsection (4) after “increase” insert “ or decrease ” . (5) Omit subsection (6). (6) At the end add— (6A) This section and sections 7 and 8 do not apply in relation to alterations, or proposed alterations, to decrease the capacity of a large raised reservoir so that it is incapable of holding 10,000 cubic metres of water above the natural level of any part of the surrounding land (in which case section 13 applies instead). (6B) The Minister may by order substitute a different volume of water for the volume specified in subsection (6A).
