The increase of the sums authorised for issue out of the Consolidated Fund in respect of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Estimate comprises— (a) supplementary sums totalling £1,481,064,000, and (b) an increase of £22,056,816,000 in consequence of a transfer of functions from the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (see also Note 12).
