(1) The modification set out in the Table on the limit set on the resources applicable as operating appropriations in aid in respect of Request for Resources 1 of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Estimate comprises— (a) a reduction of the limit of £42,700,000, calculated as described in paragraph (2), and (b) a subsequent increase of the limit of £1,795,000. (2) The amount of £42,700,000 specified in sub-paragraph (1) was calculated by aggregating— (a) a reduction of £45,887,000, and (b) an increase of £3,187,000 in consequence of a transfer of functions from the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (see also Notes 15 and 17).
