(1) Section 83 (interpretation of Part 3) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (1)— (a) omit the definitions of— (i) “the Audit Commission”, (ii) “ethical standards officer”, and (iii) “police authority”, and (b) in the definition of “model code of conduct” omit “(1) and”. (3) Omit subsections (4), (12), (15) and (16).
