In ESA 2008— (a) in section 130 (directions prohibiting participation in management: information), in subsection (5), omit “the General Teaching Council for England,”; (b) in Schedule 1 (minor and consequential amendments), in paragraph 23 (substitution of sections 167C and 167D of EA 2002), in the substituted section 167C, in subsection (5), omit “ the General Teaching Council for England, ” .
