(1) Section 143 (power to alter contributions with a view to adjusting the level of the National Insurance Fund) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (1)(c), for “section 11(1)” substitute “ section 11(2) and (6) ” . (3) In subsection (3)— (a) for “section 11(1)” substitute “ section 11(2) and (6) ” ; (b) for the words from “amount” to the end substitute “ small profits threshold for the purposes of Class 2 contributions ” .
