s 17 Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be cited as the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016. (2) This Act extends to England and Wales only. (3) This section and section 16 come into force on the day on which this Act is passed. (4) The other provisions of this Act come into force on whatever day the Secretary of State appoints by regulations made by statutory instrument. (5) The regulations— (a) may appoint different days for different purposes; (b) may make transitional, transitory or saving provision.
