s 49 Recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments
(1) A trust, liability or other encumbrance that is extinguished by share transfer regulations or property transfer regulations cannot be recognised or enforced in the United Kingdom under a relevant rule of law. (2) In this section, “ relevant rule of law ” means a rule of law that— (a) is not set out in legislation, and (b) provides for the recognition or enforcement of a judgment given by a court or tribunal outside the United Kingdom.
