art 3 Functions of the trust
The trust’s functions (which include functions which the Secretary of State considers appropriate in relation to the provision of services by the trust for one or more Health Authorities) shall be to provide and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the Act: (i) the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Hospital, Sydney Street, Chelsea, London SW3 6NP, (ii) Harefield Hospital, Harefield, Middlesex UB9 6JH and associated hospitals and facilities, and there to provide hospital accommodation and services (including the management of teaching and research facilities).
