art 3 Provisions coming into force
The following provisions of the 1998 Act shall come into force on 1st September 2000: section 1(1) in so far as it is not already in force; section 2(1) to (3) and (5) to (7); section 3(1), (2) and (3)(a) to (c); section 3(3)(d) and (4) for remaining purposes; section 7(5); section 9; section 10; section 13; section 14(1), (2), (4) and (5); section 44(1) to the extent that it relates to the provisions of Schedule specified below; in Schedule 3— paragraph 1; paragraph 2; and paragraph 3.
