The Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002 art 4

art 4 Transitional provision

The amendments of the 1999 Act made by paragraphs 1 to 12, and 15 to 17 of Schedule 8 to the 2002 Act (carriers' liability) shall not apply in respect of a penalty notice (within the meaning of section 35(2) of the 1999 Act) which was issued to a person before the commencement of those paragraphs.
