The following functions are designated for the purposes of section 33 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, being functions which appear to the Secretary of State to be functions of a public nature— (a) protecting public health, (b) the functions of the Financial Services Authority under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 .
