art 1 Name, commencement, application and interpretation

(1) The name of this Order is the Local Government Elections (Wales) Order 2001 and it shall come into force on 15th November 2001. (2) This Order applies to county, county borough and community councils in Wales. (3) In this Order — “the 1972 Act ” (“ Deddf 1972 ”) means the Local Government Act 1972 .
