art 2 Commencement of provisions
(1) The following provisions of the Animal Welfare Act 2006 come into force when this Order is made— (a) Sections 1 to 7; (b) Section 8(1), (2), (7) and (8); (c) Sections 9 to 12; (d) Section 13 and Schedule 1; (e) Sections 17 to 45; (f) Sections 51 and 52; (g) Section 53 and Schedule 2; (h) Sections 54 to 60; (i) Sections 62 and 63; (j) Section 64 to the extent that it relates to the provisions of Schedule 3 specified in paragraph (l); (k) Section 65 to the extent that it relates to the provisions of Schedule 4 specified in paragraph (m); (l) Schedule 3 except paragraph 3(1); (m) Schedule 4 except— (i) Section 2 of the Pet Animals Act 1951 (c. 35) ; (ii) Sections 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1968 (c. 34) ; (iii) Sections 37 to 39 of the Animal Health Act 1981 (c. 22) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 5 to that Act. (n) Section 66.
