art 2 Provisions coming into force on 14 July 2014
The appointed day for the following provisions of the 2014 Act coming into force is 14 July 2014— (a) section 42 (dates of terms and holidays and times of school sessions); (b) section 44 (local authority education functions exercisable by the persons directed); (c) section 48 (minor and consequential amendment and repeals) in so far as it relates to the amendments made by paragraph 1(1), (2) and (6) of Schedule 3; and (d) paragraph 1(1), (2) and (6) of Schedule 3.
