art 7 Transitory modification of references to “adult placement service” in definitions of “care home service” and “domiciliary support service”
Until the coming into force of section 2(1)(f) of the Act— (a) paragraph 1(2)(e) of Schedule 1 to the Act is to be read as if, for the phrase “providing accommodation for an adult arranged as part of an adult placement service” there were substituted “where accommodation is provided by an adult placement carer approved by an adult placement scheme provider who is registered under Part 2 of the Care Standards Act 2000”; (b) paragraph 8(2)(b)(i) of Schedule 1 to the Act is to be read as if, for the phrase “accommodation arranged as part of an adult placement service is provided” there were substituted “accommodation is provided by an adult placement carer approved by an adult placement scheme provider who is registered under Part 2 of the Care Standards Act 2000”.
