s 15 Interpretation
In this Part and in Schedule 2— “ civil sanction ” ( “sancsiwn sifil ”) means a fixed monetary penalty, a variable monetary penalty or a compliance notice; “ compliance notice ” (“ hysbysiad cydymffurfio ”) means a notice requiring a person to take such steps as are specified in the notice, within such time as specified in the notice, to ensure that the offence does not continue or recur; “ fixed monetary penalty ” (“ cosb ariannol benodedig ”) means a fixed monetary penalty which is a requirement to pay Natural Resources Wales a penalty, being the amount specified in paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 2; “ public register ” (“ cofrestr gyhoeddus ”) has the meaning given in regulation 23(1); “ variable monetary penalty ” (“ cosb ariannol amrywiadwy ”) means a penalty of such amount as determined by Natural Resources Wales under Part 2 of Schedule 2.
