art 3 Amendment to the County of Swansea (Communities) Order 2026
(1) The County of Swansea (Communities) Order 2026 is amended as follows. (2) For article 20 (Mawr — abolition of community) substitute— Mawr — abolition of community and community council (20) The community of Mawr as changed by this Order is abolished. (20A) The community council of Mawr is dissolved. (3) In the English language text— (a) In article 22 (abolition of communities)— (i) for “Llangenith” substitute “Llangennith” ; (ii) for “Llandmadoc” substitute “Llanmadoc” ; (b) In article 23 (dissolving of community council), for “Llangenith” substitute “Llangennith” ; (c) In article 28 (creation of the new community ward of Llangenith)— (i) in the heading, for “Llangenith” substitute “Llangennith” ; (ii) for “Llangenith” substitute “Llangennith” ; (d) In article 68 (community ward boundary changes), for “Upper Loughour” substitute “Upper Loughor” ; (e) In article 106(a) (new community councils — residuary successors), for “Llangenith” substitute “Llangennith” .
